BMW 2002 (E10, 1968-76, this is a ‘75)
This is my friend Robb’s E10. He just recently bought it in Eugene and drove it back to Portland. I came across it last week and noticed some nice upgrades since seeing it last so I decided to take some pictures.
In addition to the E21 Recaros that came with it (which match the interior amazingly well), the roof rack, Hella driving lights and powdercoated E21 turbines have brought it up to spec as a great looking daily driver.
Can’t wait to see what’s next, Robb!

Two beautiful Germans in shades of blue.
BMW 2002 tii (1972-74) and Porsche 356B 1600 Super Speedster (1948-65, though this is a 1960-61).

BMW 2002 in Malaga Red (1968-‘76, this is a ‘74-‘76 with square tail lights). Sad to see this just gathering dust in a parking garage rather than weaving through the roads on the West Slope.

BMW 2002 tii (1972-74) in Colorado Orange. Not the nicest, but points for a unique color. Just needs a little TLC.

Two days of shooting, two Agave Green BMWs, an E9 and a 2002. The 2002 tii wasn’t in showroom condition, but the owner had a nice chat with me after he saw me shooting. Turns out it has been modified quite a bit: dual Weber carbs, Ansa exhaust, and big brake upgrades under Panasport wheels. The 3.0 CS looked completely original, and is hands down the more beautiful car (and I say this being a previous ‘68 1600 owner) but as I walked around the rear quarter I saw a beautifully scripted chrome badge that made my heart sink…”Automatic.” I’d take the tii any day over an automatic 3.0.
Seen in NE and SE Portland.
