This is the Peugeot 405 (1.9i Saloon, 1988-91 in the States).  Named Europe’s car of the Year in ‘88, it was one of the companies strongest offerings.  In fact it was so popular they are still being manufactured today in certain markets (Peugeot ROA anyone?).

In the US however, their success was limited and although it happens to be a pleasant enough vehicle, with a great inline four motor, the US market was not lucrative enough for the brand to stay.

The wheels on this particular 405 are quite clean, and that stylish chrome rocker trim almost makes up for the all of the horrible executions I have seen on ’90s Cadillacs.
