Volvo 122S Station Wagon seen on a recent trip to San Francisco. It’s a beautiful muted green (excitingly named “Light Green 91”). The 122S ran from 1958-1970. One odd thing about these cars was the location of the emergency brake on the outboard side of the driver’s seat. At first I couldn’t understand it, but a little research shows it was originally put there for cars that might opt for the bench seat/column shift models, which were never made.
